Message from our guide, Junichi Aida
Message I Want to Share Through the Tour-I wish to utilize the splendid nature of Yakushima as an opportunity for people to rethink their relationship with nature. Through this experience, I hope they can discover the connection between Japan's nature and its culture, and realize that Japan still has incredible natural beauty to offer. My aim is for participants to fully immerse themselves in an extraordinary world, gaining insights for their future lives, ensuring that the tour is more than just a fun experience.
My Favorite Place and Why- I don't have a fixed favorite place. For me, the greatest joy is being present in a place that is shining its brightest at that particular moment. Therefore, I believe it's important to go to a place and be fully present there, regardless of the weather, without any preconceptions. I think beautiful places are not always there; they are found by the individual in that particular moment.
What Excites Me about this tour-The joy of playing in water so clean you could drink it forms the base of everything for me. The thrill isn’t just in the activity itself, but also in the unique views and highlights that can only be experienced through these activities. I become so absorbed in each moment that my mind clears completely, offering a sense of liberation. Clinging to massive rocks, weaving through them, jumping - it's all full of exciting points.
