About

A quiet journey through Western Japan—one that begins not with motion, but with stillness.
In a Zen temple in Fukuyama, time slows. You sit in silence, dine with intention, and bathe as if each breath were sacred.
The sea breeze carries you along the Shimanami Kaido, where island life flows gently and locals greet you with open hearts.
In Hiroshima, beneath the shadow of history, you listen—to the past, to the present, to your own thoughts.
This is not simply travel. It’s a return to the senses, and to the self..

Day 1: The day of Zen

Can You Let Go of Your Ego?
Meet our guide at Shin-osaka or Kyoto Station and head to JR Fukuyama Station by Shinkansen, where a private vehicle will take you to a Zen temple.
Today is all about immersing yourself in Zen.
You’ll experience a new kind of Zen that blends art and traditional practice.
For lunch, we’ll introduce you to shokuzen—a meditative meal based on what Zen monks once practiced.
After a short walk to refresh your senses, you’ll participate in a zazen meditation with a monk.
How completely can you empty yourself of thought and self?
To close the day, a private onsen awaits.
Relax your body and spirit after a day of mindful practice.
In the evening, we’ll head to Setoda, a peaceful port town.
Dinner will be local cuisine from the Setouchi seaside.
Overnight stay in Setoda.

Day2: Feel the Sea Breeze and Island Life

Today, you’ll cycle along the Shimanami Kaido, a scenic route connecting the islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
Joined by a local guide, you’ll explore the islands at your own pace.
The course will be tailored to your stamina and how you’re feeling that day.
The ride will finish by early afternoon, and we’ll then make our way to Hiroshima City.
Dinner will feature Hiroshima’s local specialties.
Overnight stay in Hiroshima.

Day 3: What Does Peace Mean to You?

Today might feel a little heavier.
In the morning, you’ll visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
Afterward, a guide will take you through the Peace Park.
What will you feel, and what will stay with you in the end?
We hope this day becomes a moment of reflection.
Last day in Hiroshima. Dinner tonight is on your own.
